Greetings from the 4th grade!  Here are some reminders...

Tomorrow is Madden Track and Field day!  Your child knows his/her team color.  Festivities will begin at 8:30 with prayer and a pep talk in the gym.  The games will start at 9:00 sharp.
Lunch will be served following the games with dismissal at 12:00 PM.  Each family is asked to bring in a 6 pack of juice, gatorade, or water (please no soda) and a dessert to share.

This year we are offering yearbooks that are in COLOR!  The cost per child is $5.00 which is due tomorrow!  If you do not want to buy a color yearbook, your child will be given the traditional black and white copy.

Good afternoon!  There is no homework tonight, however, there are a few reminders...

Tomorrow is Mini Economy Business Day...If your child would like to buy something, please send money with him or her.

Next week Friday is already Madden Track and Field Day.  Dismissal will be at 12:00 PM. 
We are still looking for volunteers to assist.  Please contact Gayle LaBine or Gretchen VanderBoegh.  You will also be asked to send in a food item and water or juice (no soda please).  Please see the Link for what your child should bring.

Good afternoon.  The only HOMEWORK tonight is study your spelling words (review plus new challenge words)...

Reminders...Songfest is tomorrow.  Students will be at West Catholic all day rehearshing for the performance. Bring a sack lunch.   Additionally, students need to be at West Catholic no later than 6:30PM for the actual Songfest.  Please remember, blue or black bottoms and white tops.

Good afternoon!  Please note...a packet of Songfest papers (3 total) went home today.  One of the papers is a permission slip that needs to be signed and returned by next Monday the 4th.  This gives the children permission to attend rehearsal at West Catholic.

Homework- Practice spelling words...test tomorrow.

Grand Person Day for the bookfair is tomorrow.  Students are allowed to bring in a special person to share lunch with.  Please see the Link for additional information.

Reminders...Songfest is next Tuesday March 5th.  Students need to arrive at 6:30, West Catholic gym.  Practice for Songfest is the same day.  We will depart from school at 9:15 and return at approximately 2:15.  Each student will be required to bring their own sack lunch and something to drink (no soda please).  More information to follow.

Good morning!  We just wanted to get out a quick post.  Unfortunately the Blog has not been updated lately (as you can see).  We have been "Lost in Space" in preparation for the Science and Academic Fair.  If you have not been in the hallway as of late, try to make a point of coming in.  The students have been busy decorating our space themed hallway for the Science and Academic Fair which is coming up this Monday February 25th.  After the Fair, we will be back from space and updating the Blog on a regular basis.

Good afternoon!  There is no homework tonight.

Reminders...tomorrow is a casual day...Catholic Schools week starts in earnest on Monday when we will be offering breakfast for any family who brings in a box of cereal (children cannot be dropped off without an adult family member)...Tuesday the penny drive ends...Thursday is a casual day and more importantly, the ROLLERSKATING party...Friday wraps up with the school carnival!
We will send out more info day by day.

Permission slips were sent home today for the rollerskating party.

Report cards will be available tomorrow on-line.  Reminder, no paper copies will be going home any longer in our effort to be more green.

Reminders...4th-8th grade combined Spelling Bee is next week, January 17th...The top 5 spellers from our classroom spelling bee have moved on to this combined bee...If your child is one of the top 5 they should have let you know and have brought home their "study" list.  We will also be sending home a note tomorrow to inform you of their participation.
